The pond in the central courtyard is empty. We chose not to refill after its last cleaning in August due to the drought conditions in the Okanagan. To keep the pond looking beautiful and free of algae Facilities Management drains, cleans, and refills the pond about every three weeks. Since the Courtyard Pond holds 73,150 liters of water when full this means we are saving 219,450 liters in support of local water reduction measures.
